Shopping- Stroll the pedestrian walkway of Quinta Avenida (Fifth Avenue). You will find over a mile of unique shops offering the latest styles in clothing and beachwear, unusual handicrafts, artwork, jewelry, leather and imports from all over the Caribbean. And don't forget everyone's favorite souvenirs: Mexican tequila and Cuban cigars!

Food & Restaurants - Mexican, Yucatecan, Italian, Argentinian and a host of other international restaurants line Quinta Avenida. Within a block of the Luna Blue Hotel & Garden, there are six excellent restaurants. Once you begin your Fifth Avenue stroll, you will find dozens more within easy reach. With all of the spectacular choices of fare, you can have a different theme every meal.

Nightlife - When the sun goes down, Playa starts to party. Begin your evening in a small cafe watching the nightly promenade on Quinta Avenida or listening to strolling mariachis. After dinner, visit one of the local clubs for jazz, blues or world music. Tequila tasting at local bars is another favorite pastime. In the later hours, wander down to one of the beachside nightclubs to dance in the sand until dawn. The next day, after a long nap on the beach, you'll be ready to do it again.

The Caribbean Sea - It's always beach weather in Playa del Carmen. Temperatures average 80 to 85 degrees year round . Take a walk in white powder sand. Swim in crystal clear waters.
